Where to replace Cambelt in and around Wakefield?

Hey people.....

Just need some recommendations on where is the best place to get a full Cambelt kit, tensioner, and waterpump replaced in or around Wakefield?

Thinking about buying the parts myself but after sourcing them, time picking them up, etc... Probably just easier getting the garage to do that.

Also want the gearbox, diff and Haldex Oil/filter doing aswell.

Suggestions please?

Try all german car parts for the bits you will need (talk to jason ex VAG)
he may know someone who he could recommend .

Will have a look pal.... Some places don't like it when you bring your own parts as its less profit but still it's work.

Been quoted 340 for full kit and pump at a vag specialist in Leeds but I don't no anybody who have used them.

Not far at all then, im in cudworth so about same. I use 2 good garages their, one ive used for the last 7 years whos a family friend and the others a porsche and vag specialist thats very cheap, I can recommened either, let me know if you want their details and ill put you in touch or if you want anymore info on them.

Google P Allanson he is a vag specialist have used him for my s3 and previous polo, reasonable and never had any issues..

£340 so far which was just belt kit, tensioner and water pump.... At IVS Leeds....

Wanting it done within next few weeks aswell as New gearbox oil, diff oil, and Haldex filter/Oil. Would do these myself but rather someone else get messy and oily.

Quoted £325 for belt, tensioner and pump....

I did have to explain to him that the Quattro system does have Haldex as at first he said it's only a automatic transmission that does.... Lol

IVS or IVC vag specialist at Stourton ? If its IVC the garage is right next to where I work. They have a good rep but can be costly outside of the fixed price work.

Like the Sean said can be costly outside of the normal job !
I personally wouldnt use them they asked a fortune for my fuel pump doing

Oops I meant IVC.....

Everyone wants to save money but I don't mind paying abit extra if it means the job doing properly.
Probably use P Allanson but going to give German Auto Care on Denby Dale Road a call tomorrow.

Got loads to spend out this winter, but getting belt done is one job I can't do.
