Can anyone recommend anywhere to purchase a reman or recon engine from? Ivor Searle, TPS and VEGE come in at a price that writes the car off.
It's a 2016 S5 (CREC) that has had a supercharger failure and resulted in a hydrolocked cylinder and subsequently shredded cyclinder 1. The bores are too damaged to repair and one head is damaged so no good for a recon of the existing.
I'm very stuck so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Being the later revised 3.0 there is little second hand availability too.

***Before anyone says it. Audi has void the warranty as the water pump was replaced by a non authorised garage and they concluded it was done incorrectly (it wasn't).
