when is cambelt due?

i know for a 2.0tdi the cambelt is due 80k, but is there i time limit on it too, i heard that it needs to change at 4 years or 80k, is that true?

yes it does go on age aswell as mileage.

On some models, including my wife's 99 TT, the service schedule specifies only mileage for the cambelt change. After a spate of 'early' failures, Audi then advised a lower mileage and a max time of 4 years (IIRC).

well as far as I'm aware its generally 80k regardless of years tbh, but worth asking a few stealers as some would ballshit there way through just for the work, oh yeah they do this I assure you

Improvements?! None at all but it will save you the cost of an engine re-build when it snaps.
