Wheels and tyres for FL RS3

I am about to purchase a new set of Ispiri FFR1D wheels and wanted to get any views on the best tyres to buy. Anyone found ones that are much better than the Pirelli’s that come as standard.

I’m no good on the tyre front... I’m just curious about the alloys! Are you getting these for a Saloon or Sportback?

I’d be careful with the fitting as a few places online don’t have a clue what size spacers etc are needed! @billymc92 can vouch for that a lot more than others :seenoevil:

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to buy these from a specialist aftermarket supplier and pick them up and have hem fitted by them so fingers crossed they know what they are doing

No worries mate... what shape RS3 are they for? I was looking at getting them fitted to my saloon but have looked elsewhere now... Billy has them on his sportback, but can’t remember what spacers he runs to clear the calipers?!

It’s for a sportback

Yeah it rubbed on front calipers with 5mm spacers on. I’ve changed to 7mm on front and no problems. Still have the 5mm on the rear. I changed one of the tires to a Pirelli after getting a puncture on the front (255) and it rubs on hard lock in reverse. It’s only ever so slightly so I’d recommend 245. This is what I’m going to change out to

No mate it rubbed before. And lowering it did not rub any more. It does not rub with the standard P-Zero on front, just the Michelin
