Wheel Width

Hey People. Might seem like a stupid queston but will having
different width wheels on the front and back affect the handling
or play games with the quattro system.
Tempted by 8 or 8.5 fronts and 8.5 or 9 rears ( Depending on how much work it involves)
Oh and they'l be 18's.

9s are fine, just need 215 to go low and avoid rubbing.
