Wheel spacers

Ok so I'm wondering if anybody knows what size spacers require what length bolts, ie 5mm will have 5mm longer bolts, I have 25mm on rear and the H&R spacers came with bolts, so I could screw my original bolts in the spacers, but I now require 15mm for the front, will I need 15mm longer bolts or will I need shorter bolts to go in the spacers as I'm thinking my original bolts will be a bit too long and screw straight threw the spacer and touch the hub??? Cheers
