I have a Audi A5 2.0L sline black edition 2011 old shape (I think) I want to add 20mm spacers all round (that's all not lowering) Will they be ok to find and without any rubbing? And The new bolts, are they long enough? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122557173945
Hi Darren, I wouldn't go 20 all round, but it's your car, 15mm front & 20mm rear is the most popular, although some do go 20mm front & 25mm rear. Staggering the spacer sizes seems to give the best effect. JG
Does the 25mm and 20mm rub or is it no problem, I won't be changing the springs just leave as the normal Audi ones?
Couldn't really say, I have 15mm front & 20mm rear on coilovers, lowered to about 2cm between wheel and arch, no rubbing. Have a look on A5-OC or Audizine, think there's a few running 20/25mm. JG
Depends on the rim + tyre combo you are running. I have the 20/25 mm spacers. With the stock 19", 9J ET33 rims with 255/35R19 tyres I had no rubbing. I changed to 255/40R19 tyres, now I have slight rubbing over big dips/swells in the road. So I will need to go for 15/20 spacers
What size spacer is that on the car in your profile pic? Are those B8 factory wheels? That’s the look that I want!
20 all round here too, they was so sucked in the arches from the factory it really needed them. I am actually thinking I will swap the rears for 25mm very soon. Definitely no rubbing issues, am roughly 40mm lowered too, don't see why it would be an issue at factory height though tbh, but i would say go staggered at either 15/20(prob better for standard height) or 20/25(prob better for lowered) as the fronts sit out further and it is emphasized when spaced.
I’m getting the 20/25 mm spacers. What mm of lug am I going to need? I’m buying them used so the bolts are not coming with them. Thanks
I've got a 2007 A5 coupe with 20" RS4 ET29 wheels on 265/30 tyres and am looking for some spacers. Not lowered. It looks like the rears will defo take 20mm spacers and the front 15, but some people seemed to be running 20/25 without issue - what's the widest I could go?
