Wheel offset

I have a B5 A4 1.8t sport (1996)

it has the ususal sport alloys 7J16 with a 45mm offset (as stamped on the wheel)

I thought these cars had a 35mm offset..

I am looking to buy some RS4 alloys but these have a 20mm offset....

has anyone done this swap??

if so did you suffer from bump steer or wheel bearing problems or in fact any other handling problem

yup as Andy said above- ET20 will not fit- If you look at a RS4 you will se the arches difference

Your only choice is the replica root, ET35 is the optimum offset for 18`s...
