Can anyone advise as to the correct fitment for alloys for the B6?

I think it's ET35, but am not sure.

Can ET40, 45 or even 50 work ? Basically have found some MTM wheels, but not with ET35, so not sure if they'll fit ?

Cheers !

et 45 or 42 or 35 all fit. i am running 35, andyccr is runnin 32 and says he has no problems the lower the et the more the wheel fills the arch most popular aftermarket offset is 35

I RUN ET35 with 235/40/18 tires and its the proper setup i beleive for b6 for 18"

doubt it the offset is to high the wheels would be to close to the suspension

So the spacers (what size?) will move the wheel further out into the arch (away from the car?).

Will they not start projecting out past the arch ?

You can get them as little as 3mm up to 80mm. If the wheels are ET50 i would suggest 15mm hubcentric spacers (they bolt to the hub so are a lot safer).

Cheers, so the spacers just move the wheel further away from the car and fill the arch more?

Et50 should be fine then ?

I would have thought 10mm would be ok but they would look a lot better with 15mm's.
