Wheel fitment sizes?

Hi I'm looking at get a spare set of alloys with some winter tyres fitted to the for the A3 saloon.Does anyone know what size wheels would fit,I'm running 19" at the mo but wondered if i could fit 16 or 17 with a larger profile.

I know the offset of the oem 18" is et51 . I would be interested to know what other offsets are compatible as I don't want to cause and warranty problems

19" : 8 x ET 49
