£100 ? to £150 ?How much extra labour would be involved roughly to replace a wheel bearing when changing discs and pads on a s3 8v?
might get all mine done when having the discs and pads done. Cars on 60k now
Do it yourself not hard job .. But messyThink it’s worth it if I’m keeping it long term. Peace of mind and save labour down the line
I am useless at anything manual like that, I’d rather pay somebody to do it hahaDo it yourself not hard job .. But messy
No worries then, just look for 3rd party local garages english or polish no hlafords or chain companies they are mostly expensive.. And you will be good for another few yearsI am useless at anything manual like that, I’d rather pay somebody to do it haha
I’ve got a decent specialist you the road, booked in for discs and pads on Friday, got a suspected wheel bearing but they’ll be able to check when discs etc are off.No worries then, just look for 3rd party local garages english or polish no hlafords or chain companies they are mostly expensive.. When you replacing bearings it is best to replace both on the front and on quattro all round and discs and pads all round too and do not touch it for 5 years or maybe 10 hahaI’ve got a decent specialist you the road, booked in for discs and pads on Friday, got a suspected wheel bearing but they’ll be able to check when discs etc are off.
Thanks mate. Got disc and pads all around, we’ll see what the bearings are like, if it’s not that I don’t know what the noise isWhen you replacing bearings it is best to replace both on the front and on quattro all round and discs and pads all round too and do not touch it for 5 years or maybe 10 haha
