Wheel alignment

Just getting alignments checked. Guy says that as it's Quattro only main dealer can adjust the rear, he can only do the front. Does this sound right?

Doesn’t sound right to me. I’m Sure when I had 4 new tyres, they did the wheel alignment on front and back.

Rear can be adjusted by any decent shop that does alignment

Yeah he could only check the back not adjust as it's too difficult to access apparently

My local independent Audi specialist - QS Tuning did the wheel alignment for me after they replaced the clutch.

Yeah I'm going into East Kent Automotive next Tuesday so will get them to do it. It was Formula One Tyres that couldn't do it, great for cheap Michelin Pilots but not for tracking

Yeah they were cheaper than Black Circles

I've never found Black Circles to be the cheapest, I guess Formula One just price check them and undercut them a little?

my Local Quick fit express did mine on a hunter system (Y), although this is the second alignment and the steering wheel still isn't straight...

Oh that's not good My steering wheel is straight and no pull to either side when you take hands off wheel (I know that's not saying alignment is correct )

Yeah when driving im constantly having to pull the right side down about half an inch to stop the car turning left into the curb.

i will get to the bottom of it soon as im sticking tarox brakes on and replacing the ***** H&R coilovers soon
