What! Flux charge you £20 less than me when I have 3 years more NCB, i'm 3 years older and mine has a 10k limit?! I am shocked and outraged in equal measure.

I make around 10 phone calls to insurance companies each year to save myself £20, do wonder if it's worth it sometimes... the answer is yes, it didn't cost me £20 in phone calls for sure.

Hmm, sounds strange. Must be a massive excess, no NCB protection, live in posh area, garaged, etc for it to be that low?

My excess is £150 as well - I'm in surrey but It's mainly due to my other half being on the policy and that she works for the police (& that we did a multicar policy for both our cars through admiral), otherwise I'd expect it to be around the £400 mark.
