i never really had any issues with a garge in the north west of england.
i have used two seperate garages now, the VW and Audi garage in Blackburn, and in general they have been helpful and really considerate in the work they are doing.
Although having read a few threads it seems that some garages are pretty shoddy.
Please share your stories hear, mainly so we can all avoid the mentioned garages.
The only negative experience i have had with a garage is the merc garage in blackburn, we took in a SL55 amg to be serviced over the weekend. Picked it up on the monday to find a bottle of Gucci aftershave in the center console, i wonder what the mechanic had been using the car for on saturday night.

I once left half a pound of prawn heads under the passenger seat of an Avis hire car. I often wondered how long it took them to find them.
