Worth about £5k mate. Almost exact same spec, mileage and year as mine and thats what I paid a month ago.

What stereo do you have there?

Use the value my car thing on cargurus, it's pretty spot on as it uses the selling prices across all outlets, private and trade to estimate a price.

They vary so much in price from 5000 to 7000
Mine has full, and I do mean full Audi-only service history. Right up to me buying it in January. It's got every receipt and mot since new, documented every nut and bolt. That plus condition & mileage determine value. I paid £5k from a motorsport specialist dealer and the car belonged to his wife from brand new. 1 owner. Before I bought it she put it into Audi for a timing belt and water pump change along with full set of discs and pads and new rear springs. I have the receipts from Edinburgh Audi and it's eye-watering, seriously.

You're not going to get much more than that price mate, especially if the history is patchy (yours may be good of course) and it's due a timing belt now....unless you've just done it.

Folk can ask £7k all day on eBay, but have they sold the car.....likely not. I'd reserve it at £4995 mate but remember the eBay fee % will come off your selling price too.

If it went for a lot less with no reserve you have to sell it or risk being banned from eBay .

No not mine not sure how much to ask

I’ll give you a tip if you’re selling it on eBay. Don’t put a reserve price and don’t put a buy it now price as eBay will sting you for fees when it’s sold. Put a starting price instead, so if it’s worth £5000 then that’s what you want the starting price to be. When someone comes to view it that wants it and they give you a deposit then remove it from eBay and it will have cost you a lot less. That’s exactly what I did when i sold my last one.

I wouldn’t auction it at all. Put it on Autotrader with a fixed price and haggle with a potential buyer. Don’t try and bargain over the phone or by text, only the person who comes to view the car. I’ve found the ones who chat about the price over the phone and text are complete time wasters. Phrases like “how much would you take for it” rile me up when they haven’t even seen the car. Also don’t arrange to meet half way at a motorway service, they won’t turn up.
List it with as many good photos you can and honest description. Do expect the potential buyer to haggle a bit, we all expect that so price your car according to others for sale.
Good luck with the sale.

If you put it on eBay it won’t be an auction because nobody will bid if you put the starting price as the price you want for it. You’ll get enquiries the same as on autotrader and people will come and view and then when one of them gives you a deposit then you remove it from eBay. Doing it this way will also cost a few pound compared to about £40 on auto trader.
