So whilst I was watching TV I spotted this on an advert (pic attached). What the hell is that? A pre facelift mini with a mk5 golf gti front with gti wheels? WHY? I've noticed things like this in past ads such as new plates on old cars, vehicle badges replaced with custom badges, de-badged grills. But back to the mini/golf hybrid Why on earth do they do things like this? It annoys me so much for some unknown reason. Why waste money doing something like that? Is it real? Is it just photoshopped? If it is then why waste time photoshopping it? Why isn't the golf next to it photoshopped?
Someone please shed some light on this.

Ahahaha omg a milf. I've never thought of it like that. Why do ads do that, I see it all the time. I've seen it on a Dave advert too where they give old Meganes 63 plates and so on
