what size wheels do you have on the rear?

im looking at getting some new alloys and would like a staggered fitments 9's on the rear, 8's on the front.

the tyres will be 235/40/18 on the rear is this going to catch on the arch of my a3?

do any of you run this and have no problems or anybody have any suggestions?


ps. im not a stretch tyre fag so that's not an option

I have 225 40 18 all round 15 mm spacer on bavk& 10 mm spacer on front , lowered quite a lot !

Im running 9.5j on the rear with 15mm spacer

9" wide on the rears are going to be tight on an A3, if you had an S3 though, with it's 'wider' arches, it would have been much easier!

9" on the rear, 8" on the front, offset 20, that's what matters, I couldn't run these without stretch, and they are only 16's !! go for a standard offset and a minimal stretch and you be ok mate
