Q2 What Oil for my SQ2

Kind of a default brand with lol marketing , next time can be of better value , brand is unimportant , a spec is a spec .
So if some idiot put Asda 504.00 507.00 in a PD engine for several years what would happen ?

Cadburys chocolate /Asda Chocolate. enough said. I don't thing Audi/Merc/VW put Asda engine oil in their cars just saying wether its 504.00 /507.00 or not, if you can afford a premium brand then buy it there has to be a difference
That's it , there isn't !
Because the industry standard basestocks and ingredients are bought from the big boys and blended to a set recipe to achieve those oil performance profile of manufacturer specs .
The like product is usually marketed for less because they don't have the eye watering costs of gaining manufacturer approvals , R&D , advertising , sponsorship etc .
It's a similar story with supermarket fuel .
