I know we have a "what do you hate" thread.
I thought I would even the balance, be the yin to the yang.

Getting changed to go out for dinner last night, found a crumpled tenner in my pocket. Result!!

Having worked China and beyond back in the 80's I still appreciate just how fortunate I am!

Friday, 5pm.

The feeling of sun on my face.

Going on holiday.

Seeing a piece of open road open up with lots of twists and turns and decent visibility when your in a car with decent power.

Hearing the in laws can't visit at the weekend.

My fiancee and two children. Good red/ white wine accompanied with nice nibbles and the odd cafe creme blue now and again. Domestic finance and admin once it's all sorted. Dry British humour....and of course Audi sport.net which obviously, at times, goes in hand with dry British humour.

Sorry JoJo, I was a bit too lazy to check, Was just celebrating my found tenner.

No need to apologize mate, I can tell you a few stories of finding money.

When I was 14/15? I found a crispy £50 note on a bus once, I didn't know what to do with it? It's a LOT of money back then, but I went to Argos and got myself a few Transformers and spent the rest on crisps and sweets!

My brother in law found £40 once outside a casino we was going to for a night out, he split it with me 50:50, so I got a 20 quid headstart for the night! What happened next was the worst luck ever to both of us, we both lost almost everything on our pockets that night!! Karma at it's best aye. :(

One last one. On my way to buy stock from town, I found 130 quid in the carpark, it was a nice sum, as it covered my stock, so happy days. Car all loaded up, and I was about to leave the carpark, but in my rear view mirror, the brother of my brother inlaw(complex I know) came out the same place with a shocked look, and searching around the carpark. I opened my window and asked what he's lost? He said the stock money for my brother inlaws take away. I then said sh!t, how much was it? 130 quid was his reply. I told him it was his lucky day, and duly gave it him back! My good deed for that day.

The good, bad and ugly of finding money!! :ninja:

Today's weather, if Britain had a chunk of this each year I'd never consider leaving....but it doesn't so eventually I will!

in so glad someone else appreciated it. I had my girlfriend looking at me like a freak as i had a laughing fit

You're lucky, mine said... "That's what I have to put up with every night in bed".

Actually, a thread was created ages ago for the exact reason of balance, I think it was this one?

http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/rants-raves/175773-what-do-you-like-test.html

But there's so much hate in the world, the 'hate' thread just carried on snowballing, and is still active today!

Don't forget this one as well.

Food.
Comedy.
Blindly throwing rubbish towards the bin and it going in.
Riding fast through the rain dodging traffic.
Being proven right when everyone else said you was wrong.
Compliments.
Helping people out.
Completing a task off the list.
Fixing the car.
Finally having a tidy desk after putting all the paper work away.
Peeing after a really long time.

Seeing others actually enjoying themselves as though they don't have a care in the world always brings a smile to my face! it's something getting rarer though, as social media allows others to spoil your day from across the oceans.
