maybe check the part number on the sticker that has the cabling leading to it...

The cable with the sticker is part of a massive bunch that the visable wires to said box spur off of... The other screw to remove the box is behind the sub, trying to locate the brake light control module but Google has been zero help!

Cool cheers guys, never thought of the parts database, will check that out when im home. Where are the relays, is there a brake light control module in the rear of 8l like on a4's and a6's? Or, is it controlled by a double relay?
