I'm a a newbie so sorry if its obvious but what is this for, is it standard or any good?

When I get the badger5 tip, will it fit into that?

looks like a after market breather filter to me

It's part of the sai, it's just got a filter on it instead of being part of the stock setup.

Remove the sai or failing that I'd leave it as is and block pipe on b5 tip.

SAI doesn't go into the TIP so its not going to be an issue with the B5 or any other TIP...

SAI fits to the airbox but when peeps fit cone filters and remove the airbox then a small fitler gets fitted (typically) on the SAI pipe...

I have a Badger5 fitted to my APY and a filter fitted just like that on mine, don't remember where or what it's secured to though, I will try and take a pic for you tomorrow.

I have the Badger5 TIP fitted by the way, and if your S3 has ESP, then the plumbing for some of your parts is slightly different.

Yeah mine apy with esp, least it has an esp button on the dash.Those b5's are designed for esp arnt they?

Yes, I think you can just by a V2 Badger5 and everything should line up.
