What is the correct tyre size for the RSTT, S-line (what ever that are called) wheels that you get on an s3? I need three new tyres before winter.

I'd look at my own car, but i'm about 150 miles away from it.

thanks

Depends what size rims they are. I'm guessing they are most likely to be 18 inch, in which case 225/40/18
If they are replicas and 19 inch then they will be 225/35/19

17 = diameter in inches

225 = width in mm

45 = % above (101.25)

so technically to keep the same wheel if switching to the 18's you would have:

18 = diameter
225 = width
35 % (78.75+25=103.75)

25 being an inch in mm.

Correct me if i m wrong ?

225/40/18 was the tyre size fitted by Audi to the S3/TT fitted with the optional 18" wheels.

225/35/18 and 225/40/18 are both correct.

The 35 is more expensive and a harsher ride, but because of the lower profile has a smaller turing radius (not much though)

As per essthree's comment above audi supplied them with the 40
