What is the best format to use to get optimal performance out of the B&O sound system?

What is the best format to use to get optimal performance out of the B&O.

Sounds different when playing via CD, DAB, IPOD, SD card etc.........Even when the B&O settings are the same.

you can set them different for each source, so it might be that - any of those sources should be good (as long as mp3 files on the ipod/sd card are of a high bitrate)

avoid bluetooth

Got the B&O setting the same for all and tested all sources at the same sound levels. Some sound better than others, but wanted to see if I can improve it more..

you will always get some variance between media types, i find ipod/DAB best on my BOSE
