Using a 1980's film camera for motorsport is quite challenging... biggest problems was remembering to wind the film on and forgetting that there is now screen on the back to review the shots lol

Is it 15 and 16 in the diagram they are still available at £35 the pair
Not sure if they are the ones or not though as I’m sure there’s another rubber strip there

Nice one, cheers TJ. £35 for the pair is a bargain new! People are selling these at £50+ secondhand.

Had these short ones on my 2002 facelift but they look like they have been cut, i think they were all long?

Mine look exactly the same, seems like a coincidence that many have been “cut” like that. And for what benefit? Not even sure why Audi would have change them for shorter ones on the facelift either if they are meant to be like that. Maybe it’s something we will never know haha

I agree, full length seems to make sense.... I seem to remember having one in the middle section as well, behind the headlight one. Between the coolant cover and battery cover, but it came off as I was driving many moons ago.

Exciting and nerve wrecking, so much conflicting info out there when turboing the v6 apparently stock internals with the plastic inlet is good for 500bhp a lot of the threads I’ve seen a few people with turbo r32 say you don’t need riffle drilled rods, clutch is going to crazy expensive from what I gather starting to wonder what I got my self in for haha

You don’t see many people going beyond 450 with just a head spacer in (see Oliver on here). Beyond that it’s the high compression pistons you need to change, they’re the weak point. Rods just because

I get different info on the r320c than what is the norm on here on here we like to upgrade everything to minimise the risk of going boom someone on r320c with just over 700 and he tells me it’s still on a head spacer and standard head and for up 500 basically you just needs rods doing 805ED2EA-A8F9-4A9B-8DC7-CFEAC89F1439.jpeg 78B64DCD-3321-4C52-B081-414D8D0202C7.jpeg and that you don’t need riffle drilled rods

Changed from my summer wheels to my winters. Managed to get a full set of new winter tyres in march for £80 !! Probably a touch early to change but I'm not going to get chance to use the garage at work for a while.

Fitted a new front xenon level sensor too.

Also refurbished my headlights as they were yellow.

Wouldn’t be without mine after all these years, surprisingly easy to work on/service as well which I didn’t think would be the case (was dreading changing the seal on it). A lot more to go wrong though, I had a leak from one of the drainage tubes which meant I had to get the roof liner off to sort, hopefully now I’ll get another 15 trouble free years from it.

because its a novelty item and one day i might hang it in a man cave or even my garage, everyone has different taste, a few months ago i read through a thread in the 8p section a guy fitted an S3 grill on his car and everyone went mad that he's got an S3 badge on his non S3 but the irony was that they but APR badges on their stock s3's then its acceptable. different strokes for different folkes.

the same with the steering thread now im going to but an sline badge on my steering cause thats the only alternative when i remove the s3 badge, you dont get an aline badge but i know some folks on here will have issues with it even though its not their car.

Fixed an issue I had with the vac hose coming off from underneath the inlet manifold after one of the previous owners not being bothered to fix it on with anything. Also cleaned the engine bay and gave the Recaro’s a good clean and ordered a new drop link and fuel filter.

Hi all I did the N 249 delete Using Benjee s3 guide thanks mate.
Everything went to plan apart from slicing my finger
on my broken dipstick undoing the second Allen key for f sake.

It was all very simple once started and im not sure if it broke while removing or was already
but one of he harder pipes broke so very brittle regardless glad to get rid of spaghetti junction.
Went for a test drive feels a lot louder but only a small run so I will have to wait and see.
