Yes, headlights out and reach down for the three 10 mm bolts on each wing.
Then two torx bolts above the foglights.

Well done that man timing belt on the 2.5tdi looks a daunting task compared to the 1.8t.
I guess you had coppaslipped the pinch bolts previously?

Took mine to a breakers yard today and bought her some new (to me) headlights, fogs and few plastic trims to neaten up the engine bay, then to thank me she broke down on me 7 times on the way home (1hr drive) love her to bits though

This is a code that never seems to save in the ECU, I have a fault with my Nox sensor (cant seem to find a cheap enough replacement) other than that, nothing else comes up

Its the Nitrogen Oxide sensor that reads the final gases coming out of the exhaust, ive been told there are 2 lambdas (oxygen sensors) and then the Nox sensor

I'm in the UK, we don't have Nox sensors just the two 02 sensors. It should just throw a code, there's no way it should make the car break down.

    G247 - fuel pressure sender
Z44 - heater for NOx sensor
G336 - potentiometer for charge motion flap no adaption
N276 - fuel pressure regulator valve
    Check fuel low pressure.

All faults have been cleared and havent returned but the NOx sensor fault

I just dont understand why both Audi and QuattroTech would tell me its a Nox sensor if it isnt that, a friends diag computer came up with Nox fault too, car tries to stall when started cold and after 20 seconds or so it smoothes out abit but doesnt idle right, fixed the coolant temperature sensor fault and now it seems to be running better and my miles to empty seems to be more consistent

Ive read on other forums that it is screwed into the exhaust (like a lambda) and the wiring and control unit are under one of the front seats, apparently because its hard wired to the control unit, its more expensive

    Looks good mate.
Is it legal to put yellow film on the headlights?
Just thinking the indicator orange bulb will effectively be obscured by the yellow film??

Thanks dude! Cheapest mod to do haha!

There is no MOT requirement on the colour of the fogs but I’d imagine headlights have to be clear.

You could always change the bulb to a chrome bulb? That would get rid of the orange nicely

Headlights can be tinted but only to a certain transparency, google it, you can have all sorts of shades and colours.

Yeah I wasn't sure at first but after fitting my bargain OEM mud flaps that I'd also refurbed in matt black the whole lot ties together, after all the window surrounds and roof bars were already black. Just need to work out how to remove the chrome bumper strip as it's the only bling bit left
