Bought some ArmorAll protectant semi-matte, big thing of it for £5, seems to have fixed annoying noise coming from window seals. Might need to do upper a bit more.

New number plate bulbs, from halfords, typically they started working again and fault light went away after I bought them... so in total £8 purchase for 3 sprays of a 250ml liquid ha ha

Fitted the rear RS3 rear seats today. It was not easy! ****** cold as well. Got the fronts to fit next when I can sort out the wiring for the heated seats.

Deffo need a tutorial for that please. Ive wanted to do the same to mine, just waiting for a good price :whistle2:. I think Ash187 did something like this and he mentioned swapping seat cushion or frame over. Is this what you did too? These look alot better than the leathers for the 8p.:thumbs up:

This post was my inspiration!
http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/the-next-wave-8v-mods-on-an-8p.163230/
I noticed that Ash187 had done it so took the plunge. Unless your quite hands on I would get Ash to do it.
Rear seats alone took me best part of 7 hours. I'm not entirely happy with the fit and still need to remove some foam to make the rear head rest holes and fold down catches covers line up better.
This is how I did it.
Basically for the back rest you need to remove all the plastic trim bits then remove the seat leather and foam from the frame of both seats. Then reattach the 8v bits to the 8p frame! You will have to cut out bits of foam to get it fitting better (I still need to do more of this!).
Base bit needs some hacking as the rear bit sits too high and has some polystyrene underneath that again you need to cut bits out. It's a lot of trail and error as you go.
Personally if I'd of known that Ash did it I would have paid him!

Full service, plus brain scan and new tyres plus tweak the suspension a bit.

Enough for a little while......

Replaced the front tyres as they were at the wear indicator. Just in time for all this snow (though we've still got basically none :p )

Ceramic coated it last weekend in my dads garage as the snow outside didn't help.
Plus I think the electric bill will be a little high due to the amount of heaters i used!

Just started stripping down ashtray and awaiting parts to arrive to install an oil temperature sensor i can see all the time rather than the 30 second stint i currently get in the S3!

Had the OEM 3-door rear spoiler (Votex I think) sprayed and fitted, now like a ****, only after having it sprayed and fitted, (+/ minus 200 squid) do I decide it's just the same as the S-line rear spoiler.

Haven't really taken any pictures since obviously, (and it's deceptively grimy), but hung around and took this as the guy was about to start fitting it, at the point when I was momentarily really happy with how it looked and excited to get it fixed. Also funny how it didn't look so bad and dirty in the dim light of the garage haha.

Dechromed my grill with gloss black vinyl.

From this

Fitted a decat pipe to my s3 this week. Didnt want to change it too much so opted to keep the original cat back system. Got to admit it certainly sounds more aggressive.

So true we do modifications to suit us not anybody else. Some will like some won't one thing we don't do is be-little another Members work if we don't like something we keep it to ourselves..just saying

Bought a flat bottom steering wheel too. Need to find an airbag now (and reasonably priced too!).
