If you have swapped the back panel of the unit it should fit back in the hole correctly, have you checked for cables or connectors preventing it slide back into the connectors?

I was referring to @ch1z64. Mine fits as it should and like yours @mechanic69. I swapped back panels.

This weekend my oil was changed (feel like I'm typing this every week lately) and the drivers side seat was pulled out i order to fix it and make it slide forward when pulling the lever on the top to let passengers in/out the back.
I'm hoping the switch to Millers Nanodrive 5W-40 will reduce/stop oil consumption and give the engine some extra protection.
I Will create a new thread about the seat fix.

Mine was on Quantum 5W-30 prior to yesterdays oil change, so I'm hoping to see the oil level remain at the full line, or go down much much slower than it has been doing.
Got lots of driving to do this month, so I will watch it closely.

I was asked to do a write up of this mod. Fitted boot struts my 2011 a3 8p 5dr. It's a simple mod only tools required is a flat head screw driver. And a peice of wood to keep boot lid open. For when you remove struts. I got pics so will try to put them in order.

Ok as you can see from pics prise little clip there is a recess this just comes loose. Repeat for the bottom one. Once it's off you just push the replacement new one into place it spring loaded and will click.

Now I noticed from the sellers pic there where 2 colours sont know why but mines works fine.i did read about an issue with the brackets. Because the strength of the spring forces the boot lid up. And when it reaches the top it slight stops abruptly.

When closing you have to use a little bit more force. This a great for £50.00 here s the link

Done oil & filter plus new plugs this week, plugs made a huge difference to off boost pick up. Bought a fuel filter too but one of the hose clips really doesn't want to come free and I REALLY don't want to break my only mode of getting to work so I'll let the garage play that game with a ramp and good access.

i set the tyres to those pressures recently, so yeah its accurate. temperature im not sure about tbh, unless the temp inside the tyre is warmer than outside temp even if the cars been standing.

    easy.
take headunit out to plug the receiver into a usb socket, put headunit back. i placed the receiver on the flat back plastic behind the headunit.
fit a nut to each valve, and screw on the sensors. they are marked for each wheel eg. FL is front left. when sensor is on tight, wind back the nut till it touches the sensor, then tighten the nut with the spanner. that stops it being removed (anti theft measure).

install the app, should find the sensors immediately. go into the app settings to set things like alarm sound, low pressure limit, high pressure limit, displayed units (C/F, psi/bar). thats it.

took about 10mins or so. longest bit is taking out the headunit.
