What have you done to your 8V today?

I was going to buy the OEM RS3 grille but by the time you add this and that on.its a bag of sand...l look upon this now as a £1000 towards my next car.....and the next car is going to be....very special indeed... to me anyways? another 18 months away....though....The Voodoo is almost a year old now...time fly's mate eh...lol

Either that or £1000 towards your next holiday!

Soon comes round mate, only keeping it 2 1/2 years then?

Look great. Are these just powder coated gloss black?

Kudos to @jassyo06 for schooling @MattSedg so well. He has come a long way from fairy liquid, brillo, and gritty bucket :whistle2:
That was never me! Since being on this forum anyways....My poor 07 vw polo got that treatment 5 years ago

@DJAlix swears by this, and does calibration for a fraction Audi would charge

Indeed! A lot of people out there called BS when I started to champion this, to the point where a number of suspension manufactures sent "test cars" my way. Soon told them and I am now partnered with two of the biggest :)

Would you say it's worth doing even if you've made 0 mods to your suspension? I have 15k miles on the car so not sure if you'd recommend doing it based in these factors?

Yes... and here is a post from my blog that explains why:

I've added the glovebox cooling. I know the summer is almost over but still is pretty useful for future :) Especially after this terribly hot summer :)

Inp94ni.jpg

First you need to buy a hose 5G1816311A and a valve 5E08163559B9. Then you have to remove glovebox.

YtXnJtS.jpg

Then you have to remove rubber cover on a cooling tube under a glovebox. Hose fits perfectly

cQZAFLK.jpg

Then you have to drill a hole in a glovebox for a valve.

PfLk5PH.jpg

Pre-facelift cars have an already marked up place for a valve. For FL vehicles you have to do it yourself. Facelift vehicles have more thicker plastic. So you have to cut a bit side to secure the notches.

mV6TKQ4.jpg

Then you have to put a hose on a valve and connect it to a car cooling tube. And assemble a glovebox.

LRvCxZU.jpg

Pretty easy and cheap retrofit. But it adds nice advantage during a hot summer :) Everything fits bolt on, except a hole for a valve. :)

That cooled glove box sounds amazing. Any chance we could get what parts were used. (Both Audi and generic)

I agree it looks awesome, but I'd never back myself to do these sorts of things - terrified of breaking something. Even simple things like changing bulbs haha

Washed her.

Thanks to all that gave me advice in the Advanced Key post. Haven't missed it as much as I expected and very happy with the car.

Fitted the MSS kit to my car. It's hard to imagine they could make such a difference to the already good Eibach pro's that I had but the difference between comfort and dynamic is now more pronounced.....I just wished they would go a little lower, as with the fronts all the way down, they are still 10mm higher than the pro's

It is about to get hooned 100miles plus this morning - haven't had a long run in the car in ages, cant wait!

Thinking of putting her up for sale. 1.8 TFSI Quattro. Done 55k, full service history.

S3 Exhaust
RS3 front grille
S3 Wheels
Genuine Rubber mats and pedal caps.
Sat Nav, Cruise Auto lights n wipers to name a few bits on it.

What do we think is reasonable to sell it for?

Not sure but would probably need more info. Age, tyres, damage (although looks mint condition). Probably worth making a new post on this.

2013 plate, so 5 years old, had new tyres on 2 months ago all round Goodyear Effcientgrip performance. Mint other than a stonechip on the bonnet and a 1 slight curb on rear alloy

Is there any benefit to having HHA? My car was specced with it but they never installed it. Never really felt the need to have the car hold itself on an incline for me.
I live in London and spend a great deal of time in traffic. My HHA is set to engage on level ground, as well as inclines, so I find it very useful.

Is it much different from flicking on the parking brake and letting it automatically disengage with the throttle? That's what I've been doing at the moment. Could imagine it's very useful for London however.

No, but then I don't have to "flick" anything on, the brake is applied automatically. No manual intervention needed in order for the system to engage or release, also don't need to take the car out of gear.

Yeah, I can definitely see how that's beneficial then. How much does it cost to install?

Also interested in a rough price. Parking brake automatically applying sounds very useful.

The parking break is not actually applied via this feature, the vehicles brakes are and held indefinitely.

£280.00 all in for the supply and fit of Hill Hold Assist, using genuine new OEM Audi parts with 2 year warranty.

Just put the tips on, tried yesterday but one of them decided it wanted to say hello to the floor! Thankfully on Craig's advice I managed to sort it with a bit of sanding and polishing. Only got the one pic for now as it's raining!

Big thanks to @Craig Cull for sorting them for me, would highly recommend him.
