Nice ! All you need now is one of those little LED Audi torches to go in your cigarette lighter !!

ive just got the white 12v socket light to replace my red one, a torch would look better than the cigarette lighter!

Took my car to TRD in Gloucester for another new clutch, RTS that has paddle on one side and normal organic on the other. Also with APR downpipe and sports cat along with stage 2 map. Should be fun in a few days.

I pressed the horn button for the first time. This car really does have a decent voice.

Massive truck sitting in the middle lane of the M11 doing 55mph nothing in front of it as far as the eye could see. Gave him long horn blast as I went by just because I could and he scurried off straight into lane 1. I suspect he may have been half asleep, any way nice David and Goliath moment.

NB to be fair to truck drivers they are usually better than private motorists at lane selection IMO.

Edit It was a French truck.

Finally hooked up the cable for wireless charging, and retrofitted HHA... But guess I have the US version VC, instead of parking brake icon, I get "PARK"...

How did you hooked up the wireless charger? I have the pinout for the connector but I haven't had access to the wiring diagram yet. I saw that the pinout for the wireless charger is:
pin1:+12v,
pin2&3: to the the MIB unit(one is for Switch On signal and one for Status signal),
pin4: GND,
pin5: to Central Electrics Module -j519- (or to the keyless entry module if the car is equipped with KESSY?).

The first 4pins are quite obvious, but to which Central Electrics pin needs the last wire to be connected? Any idea of the purpose for this wire... maybe it enables the charger while the car is opened?

Actually, it's fitted at a shop, but I can try to find out for you tomorrow.. But I can tell you it doesn't charge when the car is off.

Finally got round to fitting this properly with a converter from trups to convert standard bulb connector to led connector and using a genuine Audi led lamp.
A bit sad but everything else was led out the factory apart from glovebox light. Was annoying my ocd.

I had a pair of the led puddle lights that came with the car so used one of them. Same size and fitting for glovebox light.

Major service at DH Automotive in Falkirk for my 2015 S3. They did stage 1 map (MRC)for me in May this year. Wouldn't go anywhere else. I turned up at 07.40 and was on the road back to Glasgow at 9.15 after a long chat with the co-owner (didn't get your name mate, sorry!) about oil top ups and recommendations for gearbox oil and haldex service.
Can't speak highly enough of them. Oh and all for £280.

i bought it from TPS but you can buy direct from Audi.

part number is: 8V0 919 340

its not a simple replacement without the proper tool. I managed to drill a small hole in the red plastic bit and used a t-shaped tool I made to draw it apart. Matches the rest of my console now.

Fitted 5 mm unbranded spacers to the front and got some slight vibration again. I said "again" because I tried using these spacers on my old car and they vibrated that time too. What did I expect? Sadly, there are no narrow spacers (3-6 mm) that wouldn't cause vibration.

I got 5mm Japan Racing spacers on the rear without any problems (0-250km/h tested). So maybe it’s because it’s the front axle and smaller vibrations will be easier to feel.

Changed my rear spacers from 17.6 (ecs) to 16mm (forge)....sportmaxx tyre lip was causing it to stick out just a tad too much on my oem 18s. My fitted the 17.6s to his PFL sportback on PS4s and looks dead flush.

Fitted the Clearmount cradle with a wireless charging dock and fitted my new puddle lights.

May be true. I used these spacers on all corners of my old A3 Sportback and there was vibration. It almost gone when I removed the spacers from the front axle. My theory is that the front axle hub is a couple mm shorter (12 mm) than the rear one (14 mm) and while the rear one is long enough to support an oem wheel with 7 mm wide bevel, the front one is too short and the wheel is held by the lugs only, without any hub support. But that applies to the oem rims. My current rims are replica with the 66.45 mm centre bore and I use spigot rings of 66.45-57.1. The spigot rings have the same wide bevel as the oem rims, so nothing supports the wheel in the middle. I received a new set of the spigot rings with very narrow bevel which in theory can offer more support, so I'm going to try them this weekend.

So, what did I do today? Ehm I drove my S3 home to a friend of a friend to take a look at the beauty below (it's ontopic now! :whistle2:)

Somehow Jenson Button's former 2005 VIP marked Ford GT40 has ended up in Denmark.

I know it's not Audi related, but I just had to share this with you guys ;)

That will look good, the leather does improve the centre console a lot. Are they new like the ones from bks-tuning?

Finally, I got rid of so hated number plate frame that the dealer fitted before my car collection. Due to the holes bored in the number plate in the "wrong" places, I was unable to fit it directly on the hatch, so I had to pay £76 for a new number plate. So much for a cleaner look.

Then I replaced spigot rings on the front wheels with the new ones with a narrower bevel. Now the wheels have better support and vibration that I mentioned a week ago seems to be gone, though I'm still testing.

At last, I replaced the grey star looking wheel centre caps with the round black ones. I don't know if I like it or not, buy I damaged one star centre cap when I took it off, so I didn't have a choice anyway. I can fix it though.

Without number plate frame

Nothing exciting.... Had its first MOT and brake fluid change.

One good thing was they fixed my creaky rear passenger seat.

Does anyone know how to properly do a maintenance on the sunroof/moonroof?

Preventive maintenance is always a good thing

Cambelt
Front O/S Bearings
Front Discs and Pads
Lower Rear Linkage Arms
Top Mounts
Lowered on Eibach Pros

After. I know it still take a little while for the springs to settle, the difference in handling in night and day, it is more planted and nice firm ride.

Excellent job :icon thumright:. Feeling your pain with the masking tape...that would of took some time to get that done correctly, which you have. What tyre dressing do you use?

Cheers @Scotty75. Sits just perfect, any lower than that would have been a bit too boy-racerish .

Oh, and I forgot to add o/s front bearings to the list (now added) and it was definitely going to be a simple cambelt replacement to begin with. I then started getting the drone at 30-40-50-60mph about two weeks ago so, booked the car in for cambelt and bearings. And then started adding bits as suspension had to looked at for top mounts and bearings.

The only unexpected items on the list were linkage arms and discs and pads. Let's hope she behaves for the next 12 months (hopefully longer)
