Yeah l bet they did, there only available from the USA nobody stocks them in the UK ??
Jeeez.... can get it on Amazon for like £20, give or take same price from Ebay USA after shipping.
Mind you... can it be used on like the doors? Would think the paint would fall out considering how you would have to hold the tool...?
Like the VAG Car Coding decal, looks like its domed?
you probably can do yeah, just keep dabbing bits in at a time, building it up
Finally had 2 mins to wash the winter off my car. Salt seems to have slightly etched the wheel centres damn you winter and damn you job that means I have no time

Thanks. Its a gel / 3D raised type thing. Managed to get a few as testers
Decided to clip the curb in a multi-storey today was hoping the rubber had saved me but no it’s damaged my V Spoke alloys instead, first time in 6 years of driving I’ve curbed an alloy and I’m really annoyed with myself anyone have an idea of how much I will be looking at to get it fixed and whether it’ll be noticeable afterwards?
It's a fooker when it happens eh but the saviour is, they ain't that bad that they should need a full refurbishment, just a light milling around the outer rim £90/100
Yeah a real pain, about £100 is better than I thought. I was guessing around £200-300, still an expensive mistake though
Give my Engine little clean today
I see you took off your battery cover..
That's not curbed, this is curbed....!
Audi quoted me £80 for the first curbing I did which was a little worse than yours. Luckily I didn't get it fixed straight away as I did it again and the second time was a little more expensive at £5,500.
Holy Theresa May (Bitch I meant to say), how did you manage to do that - tis requires some serious skills mate!

Ah that’s nasty, how’d you managed that? You make me feel a little better about my damage though thanks! I’m getting a quote tomorrow at the local Audi approved body shop / repairer, so I’ll see what price I’m looking at then
Parking Sensor mounts never arrived in time so to be continued, but here is part one:
DIY. No cost other than a wee half hr. My curb mark was slightly larger and using some wet and dry, scotchbrite and autosol increase the radius on the edge enough as remove damage and re-apply lacquer. Try this before shelling out any cash. Extremely difficult to find on my wheel.
Looks like toooooooo much like hard work for most novice members
Ye bent the whole front of the car ye mean???
Has actually been pretty simple so far and done without taking the wheels off. OEM RS Grill needs a little modification in order to fit / clip in. If not for the delayed parking sensor mounting clips I would have had this fitted within 3 hours, with 45mins of that time being for modding / trimming.
To everyone interested in my little prang. I stupidly decided to go for some food during the mini beat from the east. I was going slow as was everyone, I turned right and the car said sod that I'm going straight on. I had a slight disagreement with the curb and the bill is £5,500. Externally it looks like a knackered alloy and nothing else, however its 2 new alloys, wheel hub, bearing, power steering something or other, steering rods, lots of other bits and bobs and a bit of painting to underneath the front bumper, oh and lots of warnings on the dashboard. They've had it since the 20th of March and there's no sign of it coming back anytime soon. Most expensive pizza I've ever had and it wasn't even nice.
Washed it, and didnt take the 8am sun seriously enough, so have got a few water spots on the roof/bonnet.....
gonna have to be getting this polishing gear sorted @jassyo06 , contamnation on the doors and now these water spots is niggling away at me
i lugged 2 internal house doors back from london yesterday. Amazed they fit in actually. However unfortunately i have a small nic in my felt headlineing from the corner of the door. anyone know the best way to go about fixing this?
In the meantime buy yourself some koch chemie fse mate this kit will remove stubborn water spots also if your looking for a machine polishing starter kit just say the word
Looks good @DJAlix where did you get this grill from with the silver badge
Its a Genuine OEM RS3 grill, ordered via my OEM parts supplier.
.... and part 2. All finished bar the number plate. Always planned on mounting my own plate holder but it looks too busy with all the logos on it so now need to order the standard RS one I think.
also need a new drivers side bumper insert, the black vent piece....that pheasent tap that I thought i got away with, nope slightly cracked the honeycomb plastic
**** sake mate, no luck have you priced one yet ? I think they’re just clipped in so need to take the bumper off
aye, happy its beak didnt chip away some paint though, just sent off a parts request on here so will see what it comes back with, could have been worse if i was going 60 instead of 50
**** taking bumpers off cars, did it to the a3 8p i had, never again.
Jordan got me a 250ml tin of voodoo blue paint a Porsche bodyshop made it up for him l just need to order that cornel painting pen got 5 tiny stone chips to sort one of which is the size of a rice crispy and its on the bonnet..... That was painfully sore to see and still is **** it
ill come round with my 3inch brush and 12inch roller no messing
yeah ive got 4 or 5 chips...
Could you get a price n gimmie a quote for my s3
OEM Genuine Audi parts alone are gonna be around £1000 without any installation cost. I don't actually offer this type of retrofit service and the only reason I did this is 1) I managed to score a New and Genuine OEM Audi grill for the same money as a knock-off, and 2) my OEM Black Edition grill was cracked and needed replacing.
Crazy price that is, how can Audi justify that when a matrix headlight is only (he says) around £1600!
Lol a left Matrix light unit costs more than that to purchase as a part on its own.
£1600 ffs bargain bargain lol add the £1000 for the RS3 grille to matrix light and say another £3000 ye could rent one a pcp lol
Ah does it, could have sworn I saw someone say that price on here once.
Still a ****** lot of money for a grill lol the R32 grill I'm sure was metal and was around £600.
