what does SE mean on a a4 avant

does it mean sports edition ? is there a spec 4 sport audi a4 avant ?

closest is special equipment, usually the more luxurios option and then the other is the sport, which has tougher suspension and some better seats etc.

SE's tended to have things like AC as standard, but they had the basic spec seats, suspension and steering wheel.

Sports had the lower suspension, buckety seats and 3 spoke wheel.

on the subject of air-con,do all 2.8q's have air-con/climate as standard?

I suspect earlier ones might not, but later cars seem to have more kit as standard.
