A few months ago I changed my grill to the honeycomb style with the chrome rings. However I recently came across some gloss black rings in the garage which I had from previous Audi.

So I fitted them just to see what they would look like along with my gloss black mirrors. I do like the chrome rings but I am also liking the gloss black now, so I am undecided!lol .. They only took a few minutes to swap over, but what are your thoughts?

Chome rings, Never a fan of the blacked out badges, rather find just buy a grill without them entirely for the clean look.

They both look great - my initial reaction was chrome rings due to the colour of your car however, the more I look at it I prefer the black - looks a little meaner and accentuates the honeycomb grille nicely

Personally I prefer black rings, if you're going for that murdered out look. Otherwise just mix & match if it's that easy.

Chrome rings just break up that 'slab of black'.

Seem to soften the front.

Hi, my first post here.

I think the Chrome/Silver rings have it, just, imo.

However, those pictures have just made me notice the mis-match between the central grille on my car which has horizontal elements and the honey comb pattern in the side panels around the fog lamps!

Think I may need to a honey comb centre grille!

This will definitely divide opinion!

I think the black looks good, especially in contrast with the silver bodywork, however I prefer the chrome rings. Personally I prefer the OEM+ look with more subtle changes... black rings is a step too far for me personally

Thanks for all the comments guys, I had the black rings on for around a week but in the end I decided to stick with the chrome ones!
