What do you need and have to do to put facelift headlights in preface s3??

Hi,I have a preface lift Audi s3 2000 model...I want to put some facelift s3 headlights in myne,what do I need to do to the car and headlight to achieve this??is the the power plug unit for the headlight the same in pre facelift and facelift??...I know a lot of you have done this to yours so would just like to know how much work is involved as I keep hearing different things...cheers

You need facelift headlamps from an S3 and you need to cut the wings. There's a thread to show this, try a quick search..

So, are the plugs on the pre face lift and facelift models, the same? Is it just the A3 thats different?
