100% carer, hopefully it’s a good thing rather than a bad thing.
You’d be surprised how much of a job it is trying to stay safe when you’ve got a misinformed populace illogically taking steps to increase the spread of an airborne contagion.
I’ll leave this here for the IT bods who may be able to relate, maybe even laugh about being in the same spot…

Thank you for the 'like' toooldforboyracing but now I've moved to a 100% carer - not sure that's a 'job' but you gotta do what you gotta do :superman:
Absolutely 100% a job, difficult and emotional job but as we know you wouldn’t have it any other way John.

Sounds like most businesses these days, “do as we say know matter what you think” and when it goes tits up “you fix it now”. Having a similar issues with a overhead crane program :haudrauf:

Major repairs engineer for a rental generator company. Dealing with the mechanical and electrical failures from a lack of routine maintenance :sadlike:

Thankfully I don't have to deal with the f***wits on site these days. I just have to put the pieces back together when the generator arrives back at the depot. Even the problem solving skills of some of our field engineers can be baffling.

Sounds boring but its quite fun as we're always looking at the horizon and figuring out how to get there.

Business Intelligence Developer for my full time job, currently training to be some type of supervisor at my part time job.
When not working, I enjoy automotive detailing, keeping my home clean, and tinkering with our cars.

Garden Landscaping - now there's a skill I wouldn't mind picking up. I've been wrestling with how to landscape my property for the last two years. Tons of research, but not confident enough to pull the trigger on much of it, so little actually gets done.

I'm a bit of a mixed bag tbh - I work in Music Production and also Education/training (FE/HE). I've done it for over 20years now. Also qualified (Masters) in Strategic Management.
I'm thinking this might be the year to look at other opportunities before I'm too old.
