Hi Just purchased some bentley GTC's, apparently not in the best nic bit will have to see when they reach me, but looking for ideas for what colour to paint them, My car is akoya silver as in my signature at bottom of post, probably will repain them standard unless someone suggests an idea that tickles my fancy.

Could anyone also tell me the paint number for the standard bentley rim.

Cheers

Hmmmm not really sure tbh fella im not really a fan of dark rims

haha fair enough then, maybe got got a brilliant silver and then get something like a clear coat with some purple in it so on the edges/when it catches the light you get an extra tone in it, will be nice and subtle but should look good

i didnt think the GTC's were split rims?
as long as they are split rims then doing a coloured centre & polished rim is easy

thats what i thought, then if your planning on doing just the centre cap a different colour then i think it will look a bit silly as thats where the spokes lead from, so that will need to continue to the outer part. if your wanting to do the centre cap & spokes a colour and then the rim/dish edge polished your going to have an impossible task as they are part of the spokes

I dont know might not look too bad too diff colour but your probly right will look better all one. So what would you say, Duno if Akoya would look abit crap with all the paintwork being akoya anarl.

as the wheels arent splits id keep it one colour, but thats my personal taste, if its straight akoya it may look a bit odd, unless you use that has a base and then work on top of it, either by getting them to put some more flake into it so its got more shine then the body or by going with a tinted, flaked sort of lacquer

Don't know if the pic is working for you yet, but the Pascara colour is the colour the edition 30 alloys came in. My A3 is similar coulor to yours and i went from the silver standard bbs to change them to the Pascara which is slightly darker and has far more depth to it. Colour matches the car well.

let me know if you still cant see photos and i'll e-mail you them.
