Beemer 323 6 in line 24 valve, auto box with sport mode, smoth power delivery. Great cockpit and comfortable driving position. Great on motorways etc but not too good for spirited driving on twisty country roads.

Impreza RA

I added a DCCD box with auto controller, fully nylon bushed, big brakes, Leda coilovers, simtek ECU with launch control and antilag etc. Ran approx 350 brake. Sold it as i was sick of buying new gearboxes, the RA runs a very close ratio box(115 flat out) not sure how the S3 will compare as I have yet to drive it, been sat in drive for 2 months waiting for me to fit a newfront subframe.

Before this 8L i had a 1.8TQ but crashed that. Before any 8L I had my PUG 306 1.9 Dturbo ROAR was alot better on fuel than the GTI-6 n i caught the diesel bug. Quickly converted back to petrol though. Heres a pic:

I was no chav, the bmw was kept standard (14 inch bbs wheels and no tints in sight) and it was always amusing beating the barry boys in the mk1 golf, loved that car apart from the leaking windscreen

Mine was a '94 Ibiza GTi 8v - bought in April 1997, downgraded to track car in April 2004 when I bought the S3, finally sent her for scrap in April after 14 years of ownership.
