And it's back ! That's much better mate . Good luck with the region's , can't say I blame you
Syncro....what's the state of play with it????
Was planning to do the paint correction and chips today but family stuff came first. Going to be a couple of weeks before I'll have enough spare time.
Cleaned the caravan today
The roof took a VP CPW, then 2 snow foams & then some "Elbow Grease' APC to clean. What a right **** of a job TBH
Each step was left to dwell for around 10mins before having a crack at it with a caravan specific soft yellow nylon brush
What a right ******** carry on. Looks like I may be purchasing a full cover for it when not being used
Had a close inspection of both wheels & they're suffering badly from lacquer peel. So going to get them both refurbed in the winter months
Which idiot at Swift decided to put diamond cut alloys on a caravan FFS
& before anyone asks there is no pic's. 'Twas the last thing on my mind when I'd finished lol
Relaxing with a couple of bottles of Sol as we speak
@jassyo06 - I / we keep telling you my wee scotch friend you defo need BSD in your life
PS Haven't got the mojo with car detailing to do that sort of work on my cars at the mo. Hats off to you mate
@jassyo06 - Looks like what ever you used has stripped everything off the voodoo machine
Gutted for you pal. Feeling your pain
Sounds like all of the above would drive anyone to drink lol but l do prefer Peroni or Corona myself
Sun stopped me yesterday, however saw my opportunity and finished off today
Fallout remover (BH) - great stuff
Tar remover (AMDetails)
Clay Bar (AMDetails)
Polish (AF Triple)
Waxed (AG UHD)
Pretty pleased with the results. About 4 hours of work. Need a more aggressive polish as there are a number of scratches behind the door handle from jewellery that need cutting back.

@jassyo06 - ******* **** job - won't be done again in a hurry I can tell you
Caravan valeters are charging £40+ in my area to clean a 'van - Not on my watch ! lol
Like you prefer Corona but that all went so Sol was a back up I keep in the garage lol
Very nice work here! Looking good..
Need to give mine some cleaning attention, weather and lack of mojo at the minute.
Which SF did you use here @jassyo06 as it appears to have removed everything and brought back the beading or should I say previous coating ... I have experienced this with Done & Dusted, paint feels really slick afterwards but there is no hydrophobicity. It only returns after you SF it.
Feel for you @Bristle Hound. I have only done a friend's Q7 once and every tissue in my body was aching afterwards. And I just decon'd & washed it - no machine polish. I bet you'd be the same. Hats off to the herculean effort mate
S5 looking fab @Adam14. Hate these jewelry and thesm effing pointed ladies shoes with all sorts of nail-like things attached to them in the name of fashion and fock. The inner plastic liner on the A3 needs some restoration and might try a combination of Megs PlastRx and Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator that @jassyo06 recommended earlier.
+1 for the Peroni, lovely drop
Caravan detail , now that sounds epic mate . Sounds like that beer was deserved ......... No photos though ......pfffttt
S5 is coming along nicely mate. Looking very good
Cheers chaps, was absolutely knackered. May give the inside some love after work today.
I'm away with work for the next 6-8 weeks so I know there'll not be a chance to clean her hence the push to get some sort of protection on there.

Right folks, tell me how do I get rid of these marks or can I ...
I made a similar post earlier up mate, Jassy recommended some trim restorer although online I've seen many recommend some APC and a magic eraser. Was going to have a go with the latter today or tomorrow.

+1 to APC and a good quality trim restorer
Gtechniq C4...forgot all about this product works on scuffs as well
What also works is shoving yer kids in the boot...and tell yer wife te keep er hooker heels for bedroom use only lol
I've tried Surfex HD but it didn't remove the scratches/marks. I know @jassyo06 recommended Nanolex but was wondering if either someone had tried it or if there was an alternative.
Cheers @jassyo06. Apparently, she doesn't know who did this. Off course, kids are responsible for the rear ones but she ain't got no clue about the front . And off course it won't be her as she doesn't move her seat right next to the windscreen
Ordered some Fireball ultimate coating wax,Fireball carnuba wax, will try both...and use them on families cars..phoned cleanyourcar.co.uk today telling them about the Menzerna endless shine, went into great detail about this guff ..its been sent back today...and not once did he mention a different replacement or a refund....dissapointing they'd better,l have spent a fortune and so has the company l work for with them...its like yer wrong until they prove otherwise British customer service for ya
Lol ......... There's that priceless sense of humour again
Feel a boycott coming on mate . That's not good enough
Yer post made me chuckle mate lol its been one them days where smiles where few and far between lol
Slightly off Topic but still car related...Jordan asked me up to his dealership as they have a few nice demo cars in...so off next weekend to have a go in the new X3M....not my type of car,but should be interesting to drive a 510 bhp SUV....
Feeling that mate . I spent the day doing a job for a property developer that wanted everything for nothing or at least cheap . Horrible woman and poncy soon .
Some people . Had a mind too put me tools away and leave the job .
Should be a nice drive Surprised you're not going for something a bit more sporty
It's just a jolly drive...av no need for a SUV nor could l afford a £80k plus car like the X3M
Been there with property Companies/ owners mate with electrical works..years back....they paid me right to the penny mate...lesson learnt
Not today but yesterday - this picture upload is getting a bit monotonous isn't it. We need to spice things up a bit here .
Outside followed typical wash routine but inside needed much tlc after our trip to Bournemouth on Saturday. It appeared half of Beach sand managed to get in to the car so, gave the inside a deep cleanse with Sonax interior cleaner.
Had a window of opportunity to to clean the car today. Just time to add a layer of mother's wax to bonnet only.
And then rain came in later and dampened my cleaning mojo again! Lol
Full decon, wash and seal of roofbox before fitting. Heading up to Harrogate tomorrow ahead of my son passing out of the Army Foundation college, proud dad.
Oh yeah, and washed the X3 too
Nice work Nev and congrats for your son "Passing Out"
Nice work as always @A4A4
Congrats and enjoy the day
Hi guys, rather start another topic on what's likely been done to death already I thought I'd drop quick post here. Got a Audi A3 8P in black with various light marks (cant be felt with finger nail) that I want get out. What's best product/s to get these out by hand? Cheers for help!
Think you're safe on that count mate it was the last thing on our minds as well
When i had the black S3 I used a DA with ultimate compound to do this:
I also found Poorboys black hole good as well: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/new-da-poorboys-black-hole-g3-wax.250687/
So I got fed up with looking at dear daughters filthy Alhambra (to be fair she’s got 3 under 5 to worry about lol) and gave it a 2 hour makeover. Don’t have a DA yet so all by hand. Pretty pleased although some of that “Black Hole” stuff would have been good !!
I might add it’s a flippin tank!! Needed a step ladder to reach the roof!!
