I'm new to the forum as only just purchased my A3 but my camera equipment comprises of Nikon D7100 body, 50mm f1.8, 18-105mm f3.5-5.6, 55-200mm f4-5.6 manfrotto Mk 055 pro3 tripod.
Do you use the sigma very often, would love to try one of those out for my sunrise/sunset stuff at the beach
Maybe theres a friendly Audi owner that has a sigma 10-20mm Nikon mount lens they don'y use very often and wants to share lol
Nikon D5000. 18-55 and 70- 300 lenses. I never alter or edit any photos so what you see is how it was.
How about us photographers posting our Flickr accounts so we can see each other's photos? My account is Phil Seagust
Had a disaster last weekend. I dropped my favourite lens the Canon 24-104mm F4/L IS. And now the aperture blades were stuck and I got the dreaded Error 01. Good news a quick phone call to the insurance company and within 48 hours I had a new replacement. Plus I treated myself to a new 7D Phil
Purchased in Hong Kong back in 1995 - all taxes paid of course I sold this machine last year and I do so miss it: Been using a Panasonic DMC-TZ10 for several years now and the camera's just ace. Anyone interested in an as new Fujifilm X-E2 with STD 35mm lens and 18 to 55mm zoom - 18-months old and used twice: all boxes, etc... Taken with a DMC-TZ10 of course.
OK, moving on from post #98 the Fujifilm X-E2 and both lens AND a near new Panasonic DMC-TZ40 have gone off to new homes care of eBay and that left me with my faithful Panasonic DMC-TZ10 - I much prefer the TZ10 to the TZ40. Sooooo, with monies in the bank and with the 'no-pockets-in-shrouds' outlook I've developed since RS3copilot was diagnosed with the dreaded, I'm back onto eBay loooooking: and now, if only to keep my original and faithful Panasonic DMC TZ10 company I bought two more - boxed as new with lots of spares and accessories - PLUS a Panasonic DMC-FZ72 (with a 20–1200mm focal range and that's an extraordinary 60x optical zoom) and still with £000's spare in the bank - what's not to like... An amazingly good and easy to use machine is this Panasonic DMC-FZ72 and @ £175 boxed as new with warranty and 10-filters and a bag and spares and posted it was soooo easy to convince myself, know what I mean... (The two TZ10s were purchased for about the same selling price as the TZ40, and the FZ72 for £150 less than the XF35mm lens, so the X-E2 was well and truly surplus ££s - BLUEY now FULL to the brim with SHELL V-Power Super Unleaded...
thought id say hi as I'm fairly new to the forum but have been into photography for about 4 years now, mostly a motorsport photographer following the uk drifting scene but try and shoot all sorts of stuff kit as below canon 7d mkii 70/200 f2.8is 24/105 f4is 10/22 f3.5/4.5 plan to purchase much more soon as possible
Thanks guys Phil i highly rate the 7d 2 the 10 fps is awesome and the auto focus is great, not a mega fan for low light if im honest but im still getting used to it and setting it up properly as i made the switch from nikon in march this year so this is my first canon. 24/105 is a fantasic lens and is the 2 most used lens i have being is and l series lens its built so well and the image quailty is excellent sadly the 7d2 is a crop sensor so can be a little annoying for some subjects i.e truckfest was a nightmare as had to be so far back with it to get a truck in the shot. My only issue with it and its very petty is the lens hood is very tight to get on and off but other people i no with this lens have all said the same thing. Please feel free to check out my work if you wish all feedback good or bad is appreciated Facebook.com/danfowlerphotography https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/danfowlerphotography/sets/
Yes the 24-105 is a great lens. I agree about the lens hood. My first 24-105 died after 3 years the IS stopped working. But it's still my favourite and first to go to lens. My 2nd favourite is my 300mm
I like to have a break from the digital now and then so dust these of sometimes: IMG_3904 by Victor Lopes, on Flickr IMG_2500_edited-1 by Victor Lopes, on Flickr 2849 by Victor Lopes, on Flickr

I'm thinking of selling my 300mm F4 L lens and getting the 100mm -400mm F5.6 L lends. Anyone got this lens and what are your views?
I don't have one myself but have had the use of it on various occasions, the version 1 that is. Great lens but wont be as sharp as you prime 300, depends what your shooting and whether you really need the zoom? Whatabout a tele-converter on yours? I would always try to go with a prime if I could.....IMO
Since my last post #25, I have added a second Sony Alpha A700 body so hopefully reduce the amount of lens swapping between my original Sony A700. I also purchased extra spare batteries and a dual battery charger.
According to my wife, I have far too much camera gear Canon 5D MkIII Canon 7D MkII Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L Canon EF 100-400mm IS II Canon EFS 50mm f/1.8 II Canon EF 1.4X III Extender
What do you think of the100-400mm mk2? I'm undecided about this or the Sigma 150-600mm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Canon 100-400 is amazing! I had the Sigma 150-600 Sport for 3 months, it was horrific at any subject over 15 meters.
Thanks. Looks like that's another lens I will not tell the wife I have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
