Thanks wonder why they are not on my A4?
I thought they only need to be secured via isofix

A4 saloon? It's for some old style rear facing seats where the straps used to go over the top of the seats I believe.

Isofix tens to be the norm now, that has a foot which is what these straps used to remove the need for

found this after some searching found the below link, i can see why i dont have it as i have the tethering points on the rear parcel shelf..
