Was hoovering the car the other day and spotted a cable sticking out from under the interior door sill trim.

Any ideas what this is???

Very strange? ... I have not idea but very keen to know what it is? .. Maybe worth a quick trip to the garage?!

My first thought is that it's for the illuminated sills?

I've pulled those trim panels up before and never noticed anything like that. Maybe for the lighted sills like @cuke2u said?

I have the illuminated sills, I think it looks like some sort of antenna?

It’s used in the factory for tracking and guiding it through the various stations during assembly, there hidden all over the car.
