Went to see this s3 today

Almost £6k for an S3 with over 100k miles on the clock! These Noggy blue ones sure hold their value! Looking at the specs, the optional extras on that cars are heated seats, Bose sound system, CD changer and cruise control, everything else is standard!

You will always take a hit when p/x'ing your old car against whatever, the dealer has to make money somehow....

IMO it depends on the condition & service history. £6k is a fair whack for a >100k mile 2002, but if the paintwork is original & unmarked and it has a full service history, then it would be a good buy in my view. You could get a lower mileage car but if the condition is worse then what's the point?

I was reffering to the added optional extra's that S3 has over standard, based on the information given in the ad.

The Bose sound system is most definitely an Optional extra on all models.
