Hi Guys,

As some of you may be aware, was having a bit of a nightmare selling my S3 over the last few months, but she has finally been sold over the weekend for a price of £13k, which to me at this time of year was a fair price!!!!

Now, as a replacement, i have been fortunate enough to get the money tp purchase my dream car, Porsche 911 Turbo!!!! And my god shes lovely!!! Ill try and get some pics up soon!!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for the various advice i have received over my time with the Audi, and wish you all the best for the future!!!!!

Ill be having a few get together over the near future coming up to the party season, so will keep you informed!!!
 
Is it just me or has the sales of Porkers increased since Glen (Ess_Three) defected from Audi to Porsche?

He's treated himself to rather a nice 993 C4...

Me? Nothing...

I can catagorically state that David R does not own a Porsche of any kind.

He has not paid for, collected or is currenty parking a Porsche in his driveway. This is the truth...

I know he is keen on them...and will one day own one...and I have no doubt that when he does, it will be a very fine example indeed, the right model, in the right colour, with the right spec and correct history....

However at this point, his collection of vehicles does not include a Porsche.

Yeah managed to sell the Audi throught the autotrader in the end, to a nice chap called Danny, also a member on here!!

My porsche is my dream car, always wanted one like what i have, Porsche 911 Turbo, "02" plate, in black, with black leather, sat nav, and a few other goodies, got her from AFN Porsche in Chiswick London, dont even ask how much, (just in case the wife reads this!!!!)

He has not ordered a new Porsche that I am aware of...

...and mine is NOT for sale.
(Despite David's ability to get me to sell him my car at ridiculously low price...by getting me drunk)

Mine's not 1 yet...so I have no intention of selling the most perfect 911 I could have specified!

Top tip: Don't even think about turning the PSM off.

After convincing myself it was my worn tyres responsible for the last little 'moment' i had - it wasn't.

You still enjoying glen? Going to the launch at the end of the month? I'm really tempted by what i've seen/read already.

I can justify that, great price for the car, I am loving it...

Give it a few years down the line and ill buy the Porker off you if you look after all of your cars this well, seems this is the way to go. Okay quite a lot of years, maybe my pension will cover it. Ill bring cash again!! ;-)

Only advice I would give anyone is dont use Halifax.....bunch of jokers!!

Though, Glen has a way of making you think... I remember the thread when he got his C4S, was half way through the "what next?" (was very long) and then there was suddenly a thread on the car he'd picked up from the dealers after a 6 (?) month wait! sneaky.....

I have aroguh idea what you would have paid, especially from AFN!

I just got into a carrera 2 with GT3 kit and am loving that.

a few friends have turbos and GT3s and they are stonking quick!

you go everywhere at 140 mph in the turbo!

agreed on the PSM switch! mine is staying ON!!

As Glen has said there is no need to turn the PSM off but after running out of buttons to press... well you have to don't you.

I can point out that there are still 2 audis in my driveway / garage and a nissan 200sx... There are no porsche's parked therein or anywhere nearby... As if...

Congrats on purchasing one of my dream cars! One day I too will have a Black 911. Few weeks ago I pulled up along side a silver GT2 with loads of carbon fibre detailing and Techart wheels. One day before I'm 30! (I wish)

I hope Roddy is gonna drive it a bit quicker than he did his Storm /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Saying that, he does look after his car's though as his Strom was always tidy - has he kept the C or sold it for the 993 ?
