Weird tail light bulb issue

Hi guys for the past few years now i have had this weird issue where my car keeps blowing the taillight bulb on the left hand side, not once since i've gotten it 4 years ago have i replaced the driver side tail light bulb but ive probably gone through about 10 - 15 bulbs on the other side.

any ideas what the issue might be ?

Go to Audi and get a genuine bulb...they will probably make you a coffee and even fit it for free if they are a decent dealer. Cured mine and several others this way! Don't know why but only the genuine ones stay working!!

They do tend to go, I have lost count of how many bulbs I have had go in a matter of days...from Poundland...lol!!

 

swap the LHS with the RHS bulb and see if it blows that way round ???

 

Just an idea, check the whole left side light cluster is not loose/ letting water in etc
