Weird problems with windows and door unlocking

Hi, so out of nowhere my B5 97 started doing some magical stuff. I was just sitting in the car and connecting my phone to charge and the passenger side window opened, was unable to close it after. The regulator was just clicking, while I was doing nothing. I fixed that just by disconnecting and connecting the regulator again, but I guess I'll have to change it anyway, as it opens/closes slower than the driver's side window. And right now, when I unlock my car from the passenger side, both windows open, but nothing happens when I unlock it from the driver's side. But luckily, I can at least close both windows when this happens.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would take the door cards off and the rubber boot that goes between the door & A pillar and see if you have any damaged wiring.
