hey, my car has developed a really odd knocking noise, it only happens on partial throttle holding speed around 40mphish in 4th, 5th, or 6th. Its difficult to describe but is not a metalic sounds, almost like something loose flapping around. I have had a look and cant find anything loose was just wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what it might be? thank you tom
sorry forgot to say, no change over bumpy roads. its from the front sounds middleish engine area probably slightly to the right (driver side) cheers tom
now thats something i didnt even think to check :/ got a bit caught up with it being throttle position sensitive...thanks for the help dave. tom
