WD40 on exhaust tips

I'm not really big on cleaning or spending hours polishing etc

I do want to keep my new 6x4 oval tails nice though so iv been spraying them with a good coat of WD40 every week and it's keeping them in cracking condition over the winter

Don't know if this is a thing or not but it's working well for me, deff worth doing

Not tried WD40. Are yours chrome? - Chop

I always use Autosol Metal Polish

Bacofoil dipped in Coca-Cola cleans up exhaust tips a treat!

Iv just been wiping with a cloth and WD then spraying a good coat on and leaving it on as it stops all the crap and dirt sticking to it
 
It will work a treat. Something similar is ACF-50. That stuff is great

I used to clean my bike (pedal bike) with wd on a rag, always done the job and as you said, helped prevent dirt sticking.
