water jet lines to rear in an avant

It is taped into the wiring loom along the inside
of the sill on passenger side under the carpet. It's
a corrugated black plastic line. It has joins under the
dash, under rear footwell, and in boot above the
toolkit, all of which can pop off causing big leaks.
If that's your prob I glued all the joins with epoxy
resin and they're now fine. It can also split where
the loom enters the tailgate and can pop off the
back of the wiper motor inside tailgate. Mine has
done all of the above!

I am sure mine is alright its wet at the tailgate so think mine as all the tailgate cover is soaking wet .
took it off last night to have a look and was soaked as all the water was still dripping out .
You would think audi as a company would sort out menial design faults eg wash system and plenum chamber problems before production ?

Yep, some dodgy design there, only seems to cause probs
At higher mileages by which time many of audis original customers
have moved onto their next car so I guess they're
not bothered by issues affecting folk trying to keep 10yr old mega mile cars with several prev owners on the road.
The line tends to snap inside the rubber bung on the right
Where it enters tailgate next to the hinge in case you want
to check. Mine had had a previous repair with a piece of
rubber hose, best if luck sorting it!
