I’ve had my S5 since December (brand new). My keyless entry suddenly stopped working and there were a weird number of ‘electrical’ type issues - couldn’t open windows, locking failed etc. Anyway, it turns out that a wire was trapped during production in the door handle that exposed it to the elements and it’s corroded the wiring and water has gone into the door wiring loom. Now, I’ve had a fair few concerns that I’ve put down to software gremlins but I’m worried this could be a bigger issue? Dealer says they need to replace the door wiring loom and potentially the junction box. Should I be concerned?
