So I literally just picked up my car 2 weeks ago and haven't driven it an awful lot. The washer fluid low warning light keeps coming on which I find rather odd as surely the car would have come with full washer fluid right?

I remember my old TT was getting through the washer fluid fast. Audi found a leak by the headlamp washer. It was just out of warranty and they wanted something like £500 to fix it as it was a bumper off job! I politely declined.

Then the passenger door lock was only intermittently working. Common fault I was told and a new lock motor needed...and another £350 quote because it was a door trim off job!

Finally, a fault code showed up that apparently the sub wasn't working properly. I couldn't tell and it seemed to be working They quoted £1200.

    Gotta love Audi.

I can pretty much guarantee that if the low washer light wasn't on in the dealership, they did absolutely nothing about filling it up.

So I reckon it's a bloody faulty sensor!

I topped up the fluid a tiny bit and it was visibly full. The warning light proceeded to disappear only to reappear a handful of hours later. Woohoo will be wasting an afternoon this weekend at the dealership

And the fluid level is remaining full, i.e. it's not going down and showing evidence of a leak?

Interested what the outcome will be to this, sounds like a sensor issue if your level isn’t dropping... can’t be much else.

I’d call ahead to the dealer if you plan on turning up on the weekend (I’m sure you have already). Service isn’t open on the weekend officially but they sometimes have a few technicians in on a Saturday MORNING only to catch up on jobs. You might be lucky enough to get a quick slot because it is brand new, kick up a bit of the disappointment fuss.
