Warranty and Milltek

While in Audi today I enquired if getting a aftermarket exhaust would affect my 2 year warranty I got with my s3, the sales guys said if it was Milltek then it wouldn't as its approved?

Is this actually true? When I owned a Ford I knew that moutune parts didnt effect warranty but as I've only has a Audi for just under a week I'm still learning
